• Description

Under the watchful eye of Master Distiller Richard Paterson, this spirit was initially matured in American white oak first-fill Kentucky bourbon barrels, to give it a flawless base of vanilla, ginger spice and mangos.

After 10 long years in cask, the spirit was then transferred to the finest Tawny Port pipes from Porto, Portugal, where it would rest for a further nine years. During this time, the spirit was nurtured by the cask, gifting enticing notes of chunky marmalade, bitter chocolate and rich plums.

This whisky is an unforgettable masterpiece.

• Tasting Note

Colour – Deep mahogany gold with shimmering highlights of ruby amber.

Nose – Ripe plums, citrus fruits and marzipan with whispers of ginger spice, mangos and fleshy grape pulp.

Taste – Sweet pear, thick chunky marmalade, bitter chocolate and crushed almonds.
