For 180 years, The Dalmore has been a masterpiece in the making. Overseen by an unbroken chain of visionary whisky makers, their entrepreneurial spirit and relentless pursuit of the perfect single malt endures today and is at the heart of our exceptional whiskies.

Partnerships with the finest bodegas allow The Dalmore to maintain on-going access to rare and aged Sherry casks, including those used for the 30-Year Old Matusalem Oloroso. Exquisite cask curation dictates everything we do.

The Dalmore boasts a royal heritage stretching back to 1263, when Mackenzie of Kintail saved King Alexander III from a charging stag. In gratitude, Mackenzie was gifted the symbol of the 12-point royal stag to use on his family crest. Centuries later, the Mackenzies took control of The Dalmore in 1867, lending that noble symbol to the distillery.
