For 19 years, an American white oak cask has gently tempered this spirit, gifting it soft notes of vanilla and honey.

In order to give the spirit its own inimitable style, our Master Distiller lovingly transferred the spirit to a hand selected Matusalem oloroso sherry butt from the renowned González Byass bodega. Here the spirit stayed for a further two years.

Through time and dedication, this whisky has been accentuated with a fusion of flavours, including plums, nectarines, ginger spice and walnuts.

The Flavour Profile

The Colour

A splash of gold with a field of sun-kissed barley

The Nose

Bergamot, cape gooseberries, white linen and honeyed pear. Scents of apple tarte tatin, vanilla pods, peach syrup and sandalwood give way to grape pulp, oakmoss, ginger and crêpe suzette

The Taste

– Sweet mangos, panna cotta, glacé cherries and banana. Hints of breakfast muesli, moist lemon cake, and tropical fruit salad follow with a final aftertaste of Victoria plums, nectarines, ginger spice and walnuts

Panna cotta, cherries, bananas and forest fruits prevailed during my assessment of this whisky. An utterly delightful palate which I simply had to include within the collection.
